Hydrogen production by PEM electrolysis method can be between 5 Nm3/hr to 160 Nm3/hr capacities. Product purity for the main product hydrogen and side product oxygen is higher than 99,9%. Purities of 99.99999% can easily be reached with additional purifiers.
Steam reformer generators are the most economical generators used today. Production capacities range from 40 Nm3/hr to 10,000 Nm3/hr. Purity can be designed between 99.9% to 99.999%. The product pressure is normally 10 to 30 bar(g) but can be raised up to 250 bar(g).
